SCATTERSHOOTING BY WONDERING.................

Today is typical for me. I went outside early this morning to work in the yard and start my smoker for the Memorial Day pork shoulder. I wetted down the wood chips, filled the spray bottle with apple juice, made my special Smoky's Joe's rub, and rubbed down my beautiful boneless pork shoulder. The coals were ready and I felt very manly placing my prize shoulder into the smoker.

I put my digital remote meat thermometer into the shoulder, closed the lid, and was beating my chest with pride for all of my effort. Two hours later I looked at my most up to date technilogical meat thermometer. It was at that moment I realized I didn't open the vents and my coals had died.

Nothing has been right since Saturday night at Donnie and Barbara's birthday party when Shortcake stuck me with a cocktail fork. Then she took a picture of me. I haven't been able to focus since then as I was in pain, and blinded by flashes. We've got to do something about Shortcake drinking wine all time.

That's all for today. GOD BLESS our Vets and our beloved Christie.

Yeah! so happy you got on. Sorry, about posting the wrong URL. My secretary did it aka my wife Jeri. Please don't blame it on me because you know I'm flawless.

Yes, we're going to be there and we can't wait to see you. Do you need a place to stay? Do you want us to pick you up at the airport?
